More complex repairs such as motherboard work or water damage treatment may take 1–5 working days and require a lab environment. We always give you a clear timeframe before we begin.

Yes — that's exactly how we work. We come to your home, office, or any location that suits you across the Northwest UK. No need to travel to a shop or wait in a queue. Just book, pick a time, and we'll arrive with everything needed to fix your device on the spot.

Do you repair water damage?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we offer water damage assessment and treatment. Recovery is never guaranteed — the outcome depends on how quickly the device was powered off, how long it was exposed, and which components were affected. We'll always be upfront about the chances of recovery before any work begins, and we charge a treatment fee regardless of outcome.

Do repairs include a warranty?

Every repair we carry out is backed by our 90-day warranty on both parts and labour. If the same fault recurs within 90 days of our repair, we'll fix it again at no charge. Refurbished phones and accessories also carry their own warranty periods. See our Warranty Terms for the full details.

We cover a wide area across the Northwest UK, including Manchester, Liverpool, Preston, Blackpool, Bolton, Wigan, Warrington, Chester and the surrounding towns and villages. If you're unsure whether we cover your postcode, get in touch — we're always expanding our coverage.

Is there a booking fee for mobile visits?

Yes — when you book an On-the-Go repair visit through our website, a £10 booking fee is charged at the time of booking via Stripe. This fee is non-refundable if you cancel or don't attend, but it is fully deducted from your final repair bill if the repair goes ahead. It secures your time slot and covers the technician's travel.

Do I need to book in advance?

We strongly recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time slot — especially for same-day repairs. You can book directly through our website, where a £10 booking fee is taken at checkout and credited against your repair. While we occasionally accommodate last-minute requests, availability isn't guaranteed without a prior booking.

Can I get a repair quote online?

Yes — use our online quote form to describe your device and fault, and we'll come back to you quickly with a no-obligation estimate. Quotes are free and there's no pressure to proceed. You can also reach us via WhatsApp, email or phone if you'd prefer to talk it through before committing to a booking.

Can I buy refurbished phones?

Absolutely. We stock a range of certified refurbished iPhones and Android handsets, professionally tested and graded before sale. Can I sell my phone to Mobile Fix Studio?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we buy used phones. Submit your phone's details, condition and photos through our Sell Your Phone form and we'll respond with a buying quote, usually within a few hours. There's no obligation to accept, and the process is completely free.

Question 11

How does the sell your phone process work?

Accepted Answer

Fill in our Sell Your Phone form with your contact details, device information (brand, model, storage, condition, network, and IMEI), and up to four photos of the phone. We'll review everything and come back to you with a buying price. If you accept, we arrange collection or drop-off and pay you on the spot — by bank transfer or cash.

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

For online bookings, a £10 booking fee is taken upfront via Stripe (card payment) and credited against your repair cost. The remaining balance is due on completion at your location, payable by cash, bank transfer (BACS) or card via our mobile payment terminal. For refurbished phone purchases, full payment is required before handover or dispatch. We do not currently accept cheques.
